A Typical Day
An opportunity for educators to talk to parents. Toddlers may join other classrooms.
This may include dramatic books, creative, blocks, and manipulatives. In addition basic hygiene is provided (diapering and hand washing).
Provides opportunities to sing, play games using large and small body movements
A walk, a visit to a nearby playground or centres of activities such as daily water and sand activities. Provides exercise and fresh air and promotes opportunity for exploration
Topics of emerging interests are explored
Promote basic hygiene. Cozy storytime with books on beds before relaxation time.
Rest quietly and/or sleep to renew oneself: body, mind and soul.
This may include table toys or art activity
This may depend on weather. Activities promote opportunities for exploration and provides independent choices
This time includes basic hygiene. It is also an opportunity to speak with parents. Toddlers may join other classrooms.
